Dayton is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dayton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The food, atmosphere and service canβt be beat! We do not eat Indian food often so we stuck with some mainstream dishes, but we will be back and canβt wait to try more.

We visited Gulzar for dinner. Started out on a negative note - As we entered at 8.40 PM , the girl at front said the restaurant closes at 9 PM. No greeting or formality. I showed her that Google shows 10 PM. Next was the Flies all over the table we were seated. When showed to the server, they mentioned- Yeah sometimes they come, what to do. Unfortunately I would not be visiting again even though the food especially the naan tasted delicious.

Home run after home run... It's fitting that this restaurant is located across from the Dayton Dragon's Day Air Ball Park because Gulzar's consistently knocks it out of the park. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, with vibrant colors and charm around every corner. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, but the ownership and their treatment of the guests is elite. I'm not a drinker personally, but the bar selection is top notch. The food is unrivaled compared to any Indian cuisine available within a pretty wide proximity. You simply cannot miss. For appetizers, consider trying the vegetable samosas and the paneer or spinach pakora. If you have never tried Indian food before, their Chicken Tikka Masala or Butter Chicken is a great option. Try one of two different things off the menu and share with friends for an exciting dinner experience. They also offer a lunch buffet, for a very reasonable price, which allows you to try a handful of different items to best decide what you enjoy. We will ALWAYS be back... Give them a try!!!

The food has always been delicious here, but this visit may have been one of the best meals weβve had at this restaurant! Deepika even told us about a potential βmenu hackβ (paneer bhatura stuffed with chilis for an extra spicy kick ) and it was absolutely amazing! I really hope they officially add it to the menu because it was THAT good! I even tried pairing the leftover red and green chutneys from the samosas with the bhatura, and the flavors complemented each other perfectly. π We started with a refreshing mango lassi, which was the perfect sweet and creamy treat alongside our meal. Then came the paneer bhatura with chilis, which was packed with flavor and spice. The veggie samosas were also amazing(crispy on the outside and filled with rich, savory flavors from the potatoes, peas, green chilis, and perfectly balanced seasonings). My mom ordered her classic chicken korma at spice level 7, which turned out to be the perfect level of heat for her. It was filled with tender chicken and had just the right amount of nuts and raisins to add sweetness and texture. I ordered my usual lamb saag at a spice level 7, and it was phenomenal (rich, creamy, savory, and bursting with flavor, w

Beautiful space, with a lovely ambiance, itβs a pleasure to finally see an Indian restaurant that serves amazing food and has an awesome atmosphere. We LOVE IT. The food was fantastic too. We got the navratan korma and paneer tikka masala, bullet naan and mango lassi. Our server Surjit was very nice. Portion sizes are generous, we also enjoyed the music. If I was to be picky Iβd say the only complaint I had was, the last time we visited, the kofta in malai kofta was not traditional but tasted more like manchurian balls, but that apart the food and service was great both times.
